Love of Silom (2026) Mini Review and Analysis : The drama focuses on the love, trust, and commitment developing between policeman Krit and Wayu, who works at the night club. Of course, it is not just this much. Especially the character Krit hiding his gay identity and his father using his son for his own interests give depth to the series. Krit is afraid of disclosing his sexual orientation. Still, Krit will learn courage and to live his sexual orientation freely.

Love upon a Time (2026) Comprehensive Review and Social Analysis: In my opinion, it is one of the series worth watching of the year 2026. Although the fantasy time travel theme in the series is now a cliché, the story is not bad at all. Due to its being a novel adaptation, those who read the novel will love the series more. I can say that the indispensable themes of Asian culture, such as reincarnation and the red string of fate, add both a dramatic and emotional theme to the series.
University student Nakhun (JJ Radchapon Phornpinit), who goes 400 years back from the present day, suddenly finds himself in an environment he doesn’t recognize. A new consciousness, a new identity, but in the same body. Rather, his name here is Klao. His lover is also the son of a noble person, named Phop (Net Siraphop Manithikhun). Of course, since he cannot remember his past and the events in this life, he tries to understand and get used to this environment at first.
Klao will not be able to return to the future without learning his father’s revenge and his own fate. In the series, you will see what a malevolent environment the period was for gay people. Especially the character Klao stating how the Thailand of the future and gay individuals gained freedom, and his encouraging his lover, was that social message and political stance I looked for in the series. In a way, the series is not one of those cliché youth BL stories where just sweet lovers run around screaming. I focused especially on breaking social prejudices and freedom themes. Worth watching.

Love You Teacher (2026)
One of the boys’ love productions of the year 2026 that can be passed in front of the screen and watched is definitely Love You Teacher. The series centers upon the processes of experiencing love and renewing their damaged sense of trust towards each other of two young teacher candidates, Pobmek and Solar. The balance of comedy and romance in the story is handled in a very sweet, non-tiring, and light tone. If you ask “Exactly who should watch this drama?”; I can say that those who love a sincere love story coming from the hands of harmonious young characters should not miss this production. Especially, the humorous scenes passing in a lively school environment where pastel colors are dominant is also the bonus.
Love You Teacher (รักครูเท่าโลกเลย) Plot and Summary:
The entire drama changes direction with a minor traffic accident that the character Solar goes through. Following this accident, Solar strangely begins to think of himself as a 7-year-old child. The interesting side of the business is that when evening hours arrive, he returns back to his adult identity again. To bring this difficult-to-get-out-of situation to a conclusion, the two lovers knock on the door of the acting principal of the school, Sodchuen, and their other teacher friend, Jee. The only way to solve this mystery passes through bringing to light that old childhood trauma of his leaving a trace in his soul when Solar was exactly 7 years old.
Right at this breaking point, a comedy chain whose watching is quite enjoyable starts in the series. The love between the duo passes through a big test of trust and patience. They get to work investigating and picking apart Solar’s memories belonging to his childhood days and family relationships.
The character Pobmek essentially draws a profile that is not very confident in himself, not very enterprising either. The person who almost acted as a teacher to him in life and ensured his personal development was actually his lover Solar. However, now roles change and it is Pobmek’s turn: he will do his best to solve this Gordian knot and help his lover. In the progressing episodes of the series, Solar’s mother and father also get included in this complex story. Facing courageously that childhood trauma in his past, Solar saves himself from feeling like a child anymore. The duo has surpassed this big obstacle hand in hand too.
On the other side of the coin, Sodchuen rises to the position of the official principal of the school now following the successes he displayed. The main theme in the subtext of the series is completely built upon individual development and change. Everyone changes and matures in a way. The real important thing is knowing to ask for help when necessary and feeling an infinite trust towards the person across from us. According to me, it is a BL series to be consumed literally as a sweet and snack-like thing. This 8-episode adventure could perhaps have finished easily in 6 episodes without being stretched. If you run after more technical details, you can cast a glance at the MDL site. Also, we had watched this duo in supporting roles before in the Me and Thee production and seen their merit. The screen chemistry of Perth Tanapon Sukumpantanasan (Pobmek) and Santa Pongsapak Udompoch (Solar) characters definitely does not smirk. The environment might have been built a bit too sterile and the school theme remained weak, but the BL story and the pure sincerity of the characters do offer a “sweet” watching pleasure nevertheless.
Payback (2026)
Payback (2026) is a Thailand-made BL series consisting of 10 episodes, and each episode is 45 minutes. The BL drama is adapted from the webtoon named “Payback” (페이백); in my opinion, adapted stories turn out better. The series is not a full love story from beginning to end. It starts with revenge and taking vengeance; love is just something like a new discovery. The main subject is the change and personal, emotional development that the debt collector Sun, who deals with dirty businesses, goes through. Of course, there is love too. A slow-progressing, forgotten love. Actually, romance starts with revenge and it seems like it will continue with a passionate love. But slowly… Love requires trust, and the character Sun is no longer in a state to trust anyone.
Payback (2026) Plot and Summary
Sun, who works as a collector for a loan shark, needs money for his mother’s treatment. As a result of the dirty businesses he does, he will end up losing out in the end. At that time, he lives with his lover. His lover is an idealistic university student and wants to be a famous actor. Sun is a dirty youth who did not study at university. The relationship of the two gay youths will open forever with betrayal. Meanwhile, Sun’s brother is also killed for revenge; his mother will also die a short time later. Leaving the dirty businesses, Sun encounters his ex-lover Sunny 5 years later, who betrayed him and is also responsible for his brother’s death. During this time, he will also learn how he betrayed him years ago.
Preparing to take revenge on Sunny, Sun makes a very good plan. What he needs to do for revenge is to progress in acting. For this, he starts work with a manager who is not very popular. However, he has remained stuck as a trainee among the dirty face of the acting world, its sexual abuses, and betrayals.
Meanwhile, he meets the mysterious Jay, who will protect him. Jay will both help and make nonsensical and compelling requests. Between the duo, they actually have a one-night stand relationship from 5 years ago. While Jay looks for that mysterious man, he does not know that he is right beside him. Jay increases both the mystery and the suspense in the series. Although that one-night stand relationship of the duo in the past and this accidental encounter are a bit forced, there is a solid smell of love in the series.
The BL series does not present a sugar romance smelling of love from beginning to end. It progresses more in a fiction upon revenge, the mystery of the past, and the acting sector. Romantic suspense is also at a quite good level. Thailand series generally present university and youth stories and most of them are not worth watching.
I liked this series. In this story, its not having the now-ordinarified “sweet love” theme of the Thailand BL sector also pleased me. Especially its not being a story full of fans wandering around screaming non-seriously is very good. A drama close to average.

The series delves deeper than just the romance between the two; it also portrays the conflicts and the quest for acceptance between their families. Specifically, Phatsa’s true strength and unique abilities will gradually be revealed as the story progresses. As I mentioned earlier, if you enjoy this type of universe, you should definitely give it a watch. On the other hand, be prepared for the usual idealized settings, locations, and characters you’ve come to expect.
Don’t Be Too Emotional – อย่าขอพี่เจน (2026)
Don’t Be Too Emotional is a youth drama. The plot is set in a university context. If you have a soft spot for campus youth dramas, you might want to check this one out. The series generally moves forward using familiar clichés,revolving around dark characters, misunderstandings, and indecisiveness.
Instead of the usual “cutesy” university drama where screaming fans chase characters around, this one introduces power struggles and trust issues. I’m certain you’ll find that the characters occasionally lose believability. The character of Big Jane, for instance, sometimes feels overly fabricated, like a personality type you simply wouldn’t encounter in real life.

Big Jane is a dark and intimidating figure who sends shivers down everyone’s spine on campus. Rumors swirl that he makes deals with people, only to use them up and cast them aside. Whispers persist about his past crimes, accusing him of deceiving everyone and playing psychological games.
