My Stubborn (2025) is a contentious Thai BL series. You will watch the bickering relationship between two men, Sorn and Jun, who stay away from each other but have known each other for a long time. It is an enjoyable series, but a bit cliché. Still, if you like office-themed youth BL series, you will most likely love this production. You will also love the transition from enemies to lovers in the series. Now let’s move on to the series review; I will share my experiences.

My Stubborn (2025) Plot and Synopsis
Jun and Sorn, opposite characters who had a brief connection a long time ago but never really liked each other, meet again. Jun starts his new job as an intern. In his new job full of old friends, Jun will cross paths with Sorn. This encounter is not very pleasant. Jun is forced to become Sorn’s assistant.
Sorn is a character who seems interested in women, is playful, and loves to mess with people. Jun is on Sorn’s radar. With his gay identity, Jun has experienced quite clumsy relationships. Things are constantly sour between Sorn and Jun at the workplace. In their private lives, the duo makes an agreement: as sex buddies, Sorn would help Jun with these relationship issues, and they would have a fake relationship.
However, as days pass, the duo begins to see each other as more than just simple bedmates. They start to get jealous and protect each other both in and out of the office. Both are unsure of their feelings. As a side story in this Thai BL series, while Tai and Champ develop a relationship, Penny wants to become Sorn’s girlfriend.
As time passes, Sorn and Jun begin to find a familiar warmth in each other’s contrasts. In the friend group involving Tai and Champ, both rivalry and secret solidarities will arise. You will also be entertained while watching Tai’s carefree attitude, the friction between him and Sorn, and Jun’s role as a mediator. The real reason for the conflicts and contrasts is definitely love. It’s just that both of them are very stubborn. In the end, you will witness the wall of stubbornness crumbling down.

Mini Review and Comments
While the series progresses on topics like conflicts, hesitations, and discovering sexual orientation, you will focus on the main characters’ story. There is plenty of eroticism in the series. That passion the BL audience wants to see is present in this show. I felt the tension between Jun and Sorn while watching the series. Without this tension, the series wouldn’t be watchable. It was also a pleasure to watch the characters break their stubbornness over time. In short, it is a snackable series without very deep themes. Briefly, my viewing experiences are on the positive side.
The series contains the basic elements found in familiar Thai BL series. My famous cliché criticism applies here too. Highly clean and luxurious places destroy the perception of reality. As a viewer, I would have liked to see more natural places and dialogues. I don’t like having luxurious lifestyles constantly shoved in my face instead of an ordinary office, ordinary people, and places.
The series will offer an average story for the BL audience. The intriguing theme in the series is whether the Sorn-Jun duo will truly love each other, and on the other hand, the continuation of the side characters’ relationships will also be a matter of curiosity. Specifically, does the character Penny really love Sorn, or does she have another woman in mind? The answer to this question seems to be given in the upcoming episodes. Will Sorn reveal his gay identity? When will the secret agreement between the duo end? (These secret agreements also seem very cliché to me.)
The series is built on the conflict between two harsh and stubborn characters; this dynamic will draw you into the show. I love stubborn characters and the “opposites attract” theme in BL series. The drama intensity will increase in the middle section. As always, there are unnecessarily long scenes. 12 episodes and 53-minute runtimes are too long for an uncomplicated office romance. For this reason, I can say that I sometimes got tired of the series. Still, since it is a series worth watching, I recommend it; just go ahead and watch it.
