Dark Blue Kiss (2019) Synopsis
The story revolves around the secret relationship of Pete and Kao, who study at the same school and in the same department. The couple, studying electrical engineering, hides their love from their surroundings. (This is a theme not generally seen in BL series. Boys’ love productions usually tell the stories of openly gay individuals.) Pete only reveals this relationship to his father and receives full support from him. However, Kao finds it difficult to come out to his mother. Making a living by giving private tutoring, Kao tutors Non, the son of the principal of the school where his mother works. Pete’s father does not mind his son being gay; what is important to him is love itself, gender has no importance.
