What should our expectations from life be? A few words on our divisions and the definition of life… Like a manifesto… Not an ordinary post, not a long article. We are in the second quarter of the 21st century, heading towards the middle. Yet, where do our definition of life and theories of mind stand? In which centuries are they being held hostage?

Our Expectations from Life and My Definition of Life
What should we expect from life? Can this topic be summarized in just two lines here? I don’t think so. Perhaps our expectations stem from the excessive value we place on our experiences and desires. Life is like a heavy vortex of resin, smeared with cause-and-effect relationships, in which we find ourselves lost…
My Definition of Human and Perspective on Life
We still look at life in the 21st century through the thought patterns of the ancient human. We evaluate events using the universe and life definitions produced by the memory of humans who couldn’t even imagine the light that would illuminate their rooms. However, the human mind evolves. Our definition of existence has drastically changed. We find ourselves in a much more distinct place in existence. Our construct of life has been completely altered.
You cannot shape the 21st-century human according to the psychology and universe comprehension of humans who lived 500, 100, 2000, or even just 50 years ago. In fact, the core of the debates is this: the human is new, the thoughts are old… We have ignited the fuse of artificial intelligence. There is no need to imagine a distant future where humans merge with AI; that moment is very close. Our psychology and concepts of belief have also changed. With simulation theories, the holographic universe, M-Theory, String Theory, and 11-dimensional spacetime theories, we are in a mental phase where the universe and reality are questioned.
We are still fighting the religious battles of 500 or 2000 years ago. The thoughts that satisfied the people of that time do not satisfy us. We are the children of another era. Therefore, religions are gradually losing their influence; people prefer knowing over believing. While envisioning a future accompanied by AI—transhumanism, posthumanism, the technological singularity, where human consciousness overflows its molds and merges with silicon chips—how can the thought patterns and belief definitions of 500 or 50 years ago satisfy us? Religions and dogmas are left in the past; the new human mind has bypassed this phase…
Our Divisions and Conflicts
Life is merely a collection of observations. Causes and effects are nothing more than the meanings we assign to them. Unless we cherry-pick the best among them, there will always be chaos in life. We still haven’t overcome the realities emerging from the darkness produced by ancient human memory. Because of this, we pit humans against humans over sexual orientations. We consider our belief superior to another’s. Life is constantly spent in conflict, marginalization, and creating enemies for ourselves. The reason for all this stems from the mental delusions of the ancient human.
With AI, a new door of consciousness has opened for humanity. Humans no longer question “who we are” in a religious sense. Humans are now in pursuit of transcending themselves, not just accepting. While we are constantly taught gratitude and contentment, it is not our wealth or life comfort that is taken from us; it is our beliefs and our vision of the future. Our divisions and conflicts will not carry us into the future; one day, we will perish because of them…
Beliefs and Marginalization
People are now exhausted by religious discourses on social media that are entirely aimed at marginalization, destruction, and establishing superiority. Constant division, constant tension… Content produced entirely for the ancient human’s memory, incapable of deep thought… These constructs are no longer satisfying for the 21st-century human and solve no problems.
Don’t those who advise us patience for our problems and suggest prayers for our illnesses undergo the most luxurious medical treatments? Don’t they still preach that every crumb of bread is a “houri”? What about the “great saints” who fly, show miracles, and converse with god, followed by debates over women’s clothing? Where do you think the never-ending LGBT debates are taking us? Forward? Or towards more conflict? Thoughts left over from the eras of a narrow view of the universe and existence—where the human was trapped in a biological body, lacking the light to illuminate their room, let alone their mental space—will continue to keep us in the dark. We are the children of the AI era. Our perception of reality and existence now transcends matter and our biological bodies.
We are literally living inside long philosophical theories where we upend reality with AI and debate what we actually see and feel. And yet, we insist on not overcoming the problems of people from past eras; we are not solving issues. A human from 500 years ago and a human of the new generation are not in the same mental universe; they do not share the same reality…
Dynamic Reality Instead of Static Dogmas
The scientific foundations I mention here are not blind acceptances like religious dogmas. Scientific ‘belief’, unlike dogma, possesses the courage and flexibility to be overturned by new data at any moment. We focus not on static texts from thousands of years ago, but on a dynamic set of values that learns from its mistakes, constantly updates itself, and can evolve into a new truth in seconds. This is the greatest power of Mental Curation: a consciousness in pursuit of the falsifiable, ready to be updated at any given moment.
Scientific belief can be falsified at any time. It is not dogmatic. Science can be overturned by new data at any moment. But a dogma never changes, never updates; it remains the same. That is why I felt the need to write the difference between “scientific belief” and “dogmatic belief” here. Science is ready for falsifiability rather than offering a single, absolute explanation.
